The survey is a very short (three or four question) online questionnaire in which you can let us know what you think of the service you've just received from RaboDirect, and what we could be doing better.
- How do I change my details online?

You have the facility to change both your residential and postal address, along with your other contact details, online yourself. To do this login to your account and click "Contact Details", then either "Phone / Email details" or "Address details".
To update your tax rate and IRD number yourself online, log into your account and click "Tax" then "Change RWT Rate".
To update your Prescribed Investor Rate (PIR), log into your account and click "Tax" then "Change PIR". (Please note that this only applies to customers who hold managed funds).
- How do I download and print/save my tax certificate?

Login into your RaboDirect account.
Click on "Tax" on the left hand menu.
Select either "RWT Interest" or "NRWT" (for Non-Residents only).
Click on the blue .pdf link at the bottom of the page "Download IR15 document" or "Download IR67 document" (for Non-Residents only).
This will download and open your Tax Certificate. You will be given the option to either "open" or "save" the certificate. Please select "open". You may also choose to save a copy or print for your records before closing the window.
Note: Only tax certificates applicable to you will be available for downloading. If you hold or have held Managed Funds with us during the 2009 - 2010 Financial Year, your Investor statement will be available for download later.
You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to allow you to download your certificate(s), this can be downloaded for free from www.adobe.com, if you have any difficulty printing or saving the certificate, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0800 22 44 33, 8am - 7pm Monday to Friday.
- What banking products does RaboDirect offer?

Like we say in our ads, we're not after the mortgage on your house and we're not trying to sell you insurance or personal loans. RaboDirect is a new and different kind of bank.
We don't offer traditional banking products like eftpos, cheques, high-interest loans, mortgages and credit cards. You can keep your existing bank for those services - just use RaboDirect for savings and investments.
We do offer the best value savings, term deposits and investments on the market.

- What do I do if my Digipass gets blocked or lost?

If your Digipass gets blocked
If you enter your PIN incorrectly five times the Digipass will display "Lock PIN" and a number. Simply call us on 0800 22 44 33 (+64 4 819 2870) and we will get you online again.
If your Digipass gets misplaced
We have a secure way of handling this. Print off the form Replace my Digipass [PDF 246KB]. Fill in the details as required and send it to us by fax, email, or post. The contact details for this are provided on the form. We will deal with your request quickly to get you back online.
- What form do I need to change my nominated account?

Complete the Request to change Nominated Account form
Complete the Direct Debit Authority
Forward the following to Freepost RaboDirect, PO Box 38567, Wellington:
- Signed Request to Change nominated account form
- Signed Direct Debit Authority
- Official evidence of your old nominated account showing the account name and number.
- This can be a statement, an internet printout, or an encoded deposit slip.

Please remember:
Your new nominated account must be in the same name as your RaboDirect account.
Only once your change of nominated account notification has been processed by us will you be able to create new funds transfers to or from your new nominated account.
Please do not send us original bank statements; a copy of the official statement will suffice for our purposes.

- Where do I find branches and what are the opening hours?

We don't have any branches so we're always open. You can access your account(s) online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And if you need to talk to our expert staff, our Customer Contact Centre is open from 8am to 7pm, Monday to Friday. We're always happy to help. For all our details, see Contact us.
- How do I change my address?

- How do I make a transfer into/out of my RaboDirect account?

Transfer in
To transfer funds into your RaboDirect account from your nominated account simply log-in and click Transfer in, then New. You will then be able to specify the details of the transfer and whether or not it is a one-off payment or a regular savings plan.
If you action the transfer online before 9pm on a business night the funds will be in your RaboDirect account the following morning. You are now able to create a pending term deposit until your funds have cleared. This means you pre-book a term deposit and gain the current rate, even if rates go down or gain the higher rate if rates go up by the time your funds have cleared. Please allow 2-3 business days for the funds to clear depending on whether you direct credited the funds to your account or used our direct debit facility. You can also send funds electronically from any other bank account to your RaboDirect Savings Accounts by quoting your RaboDirect savings account name and bank account number to the other bank or person who wishes to make the payments.
Transfer out
To transfer funds out of your RaboDirect account simply log-in and click Transfer out, then New.
If you action the transfer online before 9pm on a business night the funds will be in your Nominated account the following day.
- How can I check that a transfer has been successfully confirmed?

A summary of all pending transfers can be located by clicking on "Transfer out" or "Transfer in", then "Summary (pending)". For same day transfers out of your account please check your transaction history by clicking on "Savings accounts" then "Transactions" as these will not appear in the "Summary (pending)" section.
