Hi and welcome to the new RaboPlus Blog

We ran a blog as part of our Saver of the Year campaign and it was such a resounding success we’ve decided to broaden it to cover all matters of relevance to you and RaboPlus – thanks to the contributors for that blog!

As you will have no doubt seen we’ve revamped our shop window www.RaboPlus.co.nz, and even if I do say so myself, we are extremely proud of it. Not only is it intended to look more modern and cleaner, we believe the design, layout and content will ensure it is of greater value to you.

Some of the new features we are pleased to be offering are:

  • This new blog, which will also include posts from Diana Clements, our independent commentator. Please feel free to join in the conversations with your comments and questions
  • A Ratings and Feedback capability for our products. Give them a rating out of 5 stars and tell us what you think about them
  • Our new Investor Centre where we will provide you with developments in the Managed Funds space and information for you to make better informed investment decisions

Tony, as we have done so in Europe and Australia, we have chosen to specialise in online savings and investments. With our customers being those that require the ability to manage their savings and investments themselves over the internet and not over the phone. Currently we have no plans to offer telephone banking.

Richard we do not currently offer accounts in any currency other than $NZD. You can go to the high street banks as they do offer foreign currency accounts.

Have been unable to find the competition blog in Saver of the year to see what the contestants used.

the last time i sent a comment i asked for telephone banking just like KIWIBANK why cant you do same?IF NOT WHY NOT?

Is there any way an American Resident can open an account with any NZ Bank? I have $100,000 US dollars to invest.
