At RaboPlus we are constantly thinking of ways to improve your online experience. A few times a year we will implement these changes into an update to the secure website (where you access your account information). Our latest update was a few weeks ago.
We have already received a few comments from customers who are pleased with the new changes but I thought this was a good opportunity to highlight the changes to those who have not noticed them or have not been online recently.
Transfer-Out Date and Available Balance
The change that has received the most positive comments is the Transfer-Out screen.
There is now an available balance field on this screen. It will display the available balance of the account from which you select to transfer the funds. So no more flicking back and forth between the transfer screen and balances screen!
Another small change is that today’s date will now pre-populate in the “Transfer date” field.
One of the most popular suggestions that we used to receive was to change the order that the messages in the Inbox, found under “Messages” when you are logged into your account, were displayed.
They used to be displayed from oldest to newest, which, admittedly, did not make much sense; particularly if you had not been online for some time and the messages backed up. Well, no more! I am happy to report that the messages are now displayed from newest to oldest, with the unread messages listed first.
New Statement Link
The RaboPlus secure site allows customers to print statements for their accounts dating back to the account opening. However, the Customer Contact Centre was still constantly flooded with statement requests. It became obvious that the button to download a statement was perhaps not intuitive to locate.
In the hopes that it makes our customers experience online a little easier we have now added an additional link to generate a statement on the left-hand navigational menu under “Savings Accounts”. The old statement button is still located on the “Balances” screen under “Savings Accounts”.
Nominated Account Links
Another popular question we receive is how to change the nominated account; the account with your other bank that is linked to RaboPlus. To make this process more intuitive we have added a link to a customer’s nominated account details under the “Transfer In” and the “Transfer Out” menus.
This nominated account screen also includes a link to the “Request to change nominated account” form with brief instructions on how to action the change.
