Last month we released the latest results for the RaboDirect Financial Confidence Index which included an analysis of age, gender, household income and household assets in reference to people’s confidence levels.
We asked people how their investments had fared in the past six months; how they felt about property investment; were they more or less confident in the financial sector compared to six months ago; and how do they think their own financial circumstances will be in the next six months?
These answers are interesting when you then slice them by age, gender, income and assets. Consistently, younger males are more optimistic and older females less so.
I’d be interested in hearing from you – can you relate to these measures of sentiment and confidence? Post a comment and let me know if you think these results are consistent with your read on people’s confidence.
