Donate to the Salvation Army's Canterbury Earthquake Appeal
There is no better example to demonstrate this than when you consider the tragic events of the past week in Christchurch. It is also one of two points that came through loud and clear when we interviewed our current and potential customers last year, as part of our brand research in NZ:
There is more to life than banking i.e. managing your money is important, but like so many things, it’s about having balance in your life. Whilst not actively managing their savings every week, people need to be assured that their savings are working hard and that the money will be there when they need it.
Don’t treat us like a number. We are people. Treat us professionally and don’t be flippant. Money is an important subject and something not to be trivialised.
Our role in our customer’s lives is to provide a service which satisfies both of the above points.
