RaboDirect, alongside Rabobank, have been attending National Fieldays for the last 10 years. This year’s event attracted over 130,000 visitors – with hundreds of new and existing customers coming to see us and enjoying Rabobank clients Turks Chicken, Natural Organics and Freedom Fruit who were providing some tasty treats in their paddock to plate showcase.
A raft of people came to talk to RaboDirect looking to explore other savings options outside of their everyday transactional bank with Sacha and Kelly from our head office in Wellington.
This year we had a prize draw for a $1000 PremiumSaver account, handed out our fabulous windmills for kids, and supplied mineral water offering $50 for every new Term Deposit opened.
The winner of our $1000 PremiumSaver prize draw was Courtney Boyce from Waikato. So congratulations and welcome to RaboDirect Courtney!
Since RaboDirect launched in New Zealand 10 years ago, our cooperative principles remain strong. Farming is the backbone of New Zealand and we’re incredibly proud to be able to support it with one hundred percent of RaboDirect deposits being put straight back in NZ’s economy - all which provides vital funding for Kiwi agribusiness.
Field days have always been a core part of New Zealand rural communities and we look forward to supporting it next year so make sure you come and look for the team at “Rabo” to find out more about the place where savers belong.
